Over the past 20 years, BNBU has cultivated innovative talents through its liberal arts and whole person education. Our alumni have made their way across the world and become the pride of the university. We plan to document the entrepreneurial journeys of our alumni to celebrate the fruits of our innovation education while inspiring current students to strive forward.
I. Interview Subjects
We invite BNBU undergraduates, postgraduates, and HKBU-BNBU MBA graduates with entrepreneurial experience. Priority will be given to:
Entrepreneurs who have been running their own business for at least three years (excluding serial entrepreneurs);
Second-generation entrepreneurs currently managing their family business;
Executive directors or general managers of well-known companies;
Investors or professionals working in investment banking.
Self-nominations and recommendations are warmly welcomed.
II. Interview Content
Entrepreneurial journey, business operations, or investment experience;
Memories and impact of studying at BNBU;
Reflections on innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
III. Interview Format
Interviews will be conducted by current BNBU students or graduates, either in person (preferred) or online. Each final article should be 2,000–3,000 words (word count may be extended for those with exceptionally rich experience). Alumni are also welcome to submit their own stories directly.
IV. Required Materials
Company name, location, and industry;
2–4 photos (each no less than 1MB)—including personal portrait, lifestyle shot, work photo, company premises, and/or logo.
V. Use of Interviews
Posted on the “Entrepreneurial Alumni Stories” column on the Innovation Centre website;
Posted on the Innovation Centre's official WeChat public account;
Compiled into an industry map of alumni enterprises, to be promoted on both the website and WeChat account to support the growth of alumni businesses.
